Privacy Policy
Ziezo Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Ziezo app (app.ziezo.social, website ziezo.social) handles personal data. Ziezo helps organisations create, schedule and publish social media posts. We only process data that is needed to deliver, secure and improve the Ziezo service. Nederlandse versie.
Who is responsible?
Ziezo is a product of Moof grafisch ontwerp Comm.V, Steenland 46, 8930 Rekkem, Belgium, company number BE 0833.354.120. Privacy questions about Ziezo can be sent to welkom@ziezo.social.
What data does Ziezo process?
Account and contact details, brand profiles and preferences, uploaded media and social media content, data of connected channels and access tokens, scheduling and publishing status, billing and payment details, credits and limited technical data needed for security and troubleshooting.
Why does Ziezo process this data?
To manage your account and workspace, generate and store content, publish posts you approved, handle payments and invoices, make backups, prevent abuse and provide support. Depending on the case, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, legal obligations, legitimate interests or your consent.
TikTok data in Ziezo
When you connect a TikTok account to Ziezo, you log in with TikTok and choose to grant Ziezo access. Ziezo only requests the permissions user.info.basic and video.upload. With these, Ziezo receives your TikTok open ID, your display name and an access token. Ziezo uses this data only to show which TikTok account is connected and to upload videos that you created, approved or scheduled in Ziezo to your TikTok account as a draft, so you can review and post them in the TikTok app yourself. Ziezo does not read your TikTok videos, followers, messages or statistics, does not sell TikTok data and does not use it for advertising or AI training. Access tokens are stored encrypted on our server only. You can disconnect TikTok in Ziezo at any time, and you can revoke Ziezo's access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy. When you disconnect or close your account, Ziezo deletes the TikTok tokens and account details.
Other platforms
For publishing, Ziezo shares the necessary data with the platforms you connect, such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn and TikTok. Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
AI and service providers
For text and image features, Ziezo sends the necessary instructions and content to AI providers. Under their business terms, they do not use this data to train their models. Ziezo also works with these service providers, which only receive what they need for their task: Supabase (database and storage, Ireland), Hetzner (server, Germany), Dropbox (backups), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI text and images), Infomaniak (email, Switzerland), Cloudflare (security check at login) and Mollie (payments, the Netherlands). Where data leaves the European Economic Area, this happens with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.
Retention and security
We keep data as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as necessary for legal obligations, disputes or recovery. Access tokens and secret keys are stored on the server only. Customer data is separated per workspace. Ziezo makes secured backups daily and keeps them for at most 30 days: data you delete also disappears from the backups within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
You can disconnect connected channels and withdraw consent with the platforms concerned. You can ask for access, correction, portability, restriction or deletion of your personal data and object to certain processing by mailing welkom@ziezo.social. You can also request deletion of your data. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Belgium the Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
Changes
We update this policy when Ziezo or the services it uses change. The current version is always on this page. Please also read the Ziezo Terms of Service.
